Sustainable Development Goals: Digital Solutions & How to Make It Happen
As social and political complexity increases across the globe, who is still committed to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)?
The Digital4Smarties series organised with EU40 continue! This time, we are teaming up with the Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) in order to provide you with insights into the "Sustainable Development Goals: the Digital Solutions & How to Make It Happen".
The workshop will be co-hosted by MEP Bogdan Wenta and MEP Eva Kaili and will be taking place on 10 October 2018, 11.30 - 13.00h, room A5F385, at the European Parliament, Brussels, Belgium.
Moreover, the newly published Digital Access Index will be presented by Philipp Buddemeier, Director, Accenture Strategy. Digital leaders from the European Parliament and industry stakeholders will share their knowledge with participants and will be joined by Bart Devos, Sustainability Manager Europe, Samsung Electronics, Luis Neves, Managing Director, GeSI, and Lise Fuhr, Director General, ETNO.
Come challenge all you thought you knew about SDGs and learn how digital can be used to deliver dramatic improvements in crucial areas such as health, education, gender equality and poverty.
