ETNO to participate in FT Italy Summit and Broadband Forum

Next Monday, Rome will be the European hub for discussing digital issues. Constantijn Van Oranje, Head of Cabinet of Vice-President Neelie Kroes, will participate in top level debates about broadband deployment and the Connected Continent Regulation.

ETNO’s chairman Luigi Gambardella will put forward the views of Europe’s leading operators in two key events on Monday 18 November.

At the FT Italy Summit, which will be opened by Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta, one of the main panel will be on “Telecoms and the Digital Agenda”. The panel will be introduced by Marco Patuano, CEO, Telecom Italia. Speakers include: Francesco Caio, Commissioner for the Italian Government’s Digital Agenda; Angelo Marcello Cardani, Chairman, Agcom and Constantijn Van Oranje, Head of the Cabinet of Vice-President Neelie Kroes. The panel will be chaired by Alessandro Plateroti, Deputy Editor of Il Sole 24 Ore and Editor, ilsole24ore.com .

On the same day, Mr. Gambardella will also participate in the Broadband Forum, which is the central organization driving broadband wireline solutions worldwide. The event will be opened by Constantijn Van Oranje  while Mr. Gambardella will give a presentation on ETNO and its key priorities for the future of telecoms regulation.
