Brussels, 27 June 2024 - A delegation from the ETNO Secretariat and Executive Board has concluded a series of bilateral meetings in Washington DC (26-27 June). The delegation meetings mark ETNO’s commitment to the EU-US policy dialogue, especially at a time in which global challenges require close collaboration with like-minded partners.
The ETNO delegation informed its US partners about recent developments in Brussels, including the conclusion of the Public Consultation on the “White Paper”, key messages from ETNO’s public response and the overall importance of investing in secure and resilient connectivity. ETNO delegates had the opportunity to learn more about current policy challenges in the US and the view of American stakeholders on EU policies.
The ETNO delegation included: Steven Tas (Proximus, ETNO Board Chairman), Jakob Greiner (Deutsche Telekom, ETNO Board Member), Lise Fuhr (ETNO Director General), Alessandro Gropelli (ETNO Deputy Director General). This is the list of organizations ETNO met with: EU Delegation to the US, White House National Economic Council, FCC, NTIA, State Department, US Trade Representative, USTelecom, Verizon, ATT, T-Mobile and Qualcomm.
