GDPR: one year on
With the not-so-new GDPR rules, EU citizens feel that they can safely navigate online with more control on how their personal data are used. But how have we learned over the past year? Are companies fully applying the requirements for data collection and processing? What are the consequences if not?
The European Commission organises an event to mark the first year of implementation of GDPR. Join Commissioner for Justice, Ms Jourová, and other speakers from the data protection authorities, businesses and civil society on 13 June from 10.00 to 13.15 in Brussels.

As the European Elections kicked off, Lise Fuhr, ETNO Director General, has a message to voters of all ages:
"Looking ahead at the next term of the European institutions, it is of utmost importance that you act and you have your say. The leadership of nearly half a billion people is to be elected by us all, collectively. The outcome will have an incredible impact on our future. So, why not be a part of it? We owe it to Europe. So, I am voting!"
