JOIN LISE FUHR AT THE 5G for Smart Communities Support Platform LAUNCH EVENT (25 April)
This launch event aims to bring together various stakeholders involved in connectivity and public authorities to discuss Europe's Digital Decade and policy objectives for 5G Smart Communities.
Participants will include representatives from the telecom industry, whose commitment is key to bring 5G applications to local communities and enabling access to innovative services: our Director General Lise Fuhr will take part in a roundtable discussion with other panelists from the electronic communications industry.
Frederic Pujol from 5G for Smart Communities Support Platform will deliver the welcome remarks and introduce the event. Kamila Kloc, the Deputy Director-General in charge of Directorates Connectivity from DG CNECT, European Commission, will present Europe's Digital Decade and its digital targets for 2030. Eric Gaudillat, the Head of Sector from DG CNECT B.5, European Commission, will present the policy objectives for 5G Smart Communities.
