STATE OF DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS REPORT PRESENTATION AT THE EUROPEAN 5G CONFERENCE
The main findings of the report will be unveiled by our Board Chairman Steven Tas at the session on “The Path to the Digital Decade - where are we now and what should be the focus moving forward?”, taking place on 30 January from 11:30 to 12:50 CET.
A panel debate featuring the views of Carlota Reyners Fontana (Director, Markets and Cases II: Information Technology, Communication and Media, DG COMP, European Commission), Alin Mituța (MEP), Ben Wreschner (Chief Economist and Head of Public Affairs, Vodafone Group) and Maarit Palovirta (Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs, ETNO) will follow the presentation of the report. Jillian Deutsch (European Tech Reporter, Bloomberg) will moderate the debate. More names are to be confirmed soon.

#ThinkDigital Interview with MICHEL PAULIN, CEO AT OVHCLOUD
In this week’s #ThinkDigital interview, Michel Paulin says that the gap between the 🇺🇸 and the 🇪🇺 in cloud industries is narrowing. However, he remains concerned about potential US monopolies and advocates for European alternatives: this is key to maintaining innovation and preventing closed cloud systems from limiting choices.
But what about environmental concerns in the cloud industry? Michel Paulin says the cloud should reduce its overall environmental impact, not just energy consumption. He speaks about OVHcloud's efforts, including watercooling technology to improve efficiency and a focus on reducing the use of energy, water, and the carbon footprint
