THE EGDC PILOT PROJECT DELIVERS METHODOLOGIES TO MEASURE THE IMPACT OF DIGITAL SOLUTIONS ON THE CLIMATE
Two years after the European Green Digital Coalition EP pilot project was launched, it has resulted in the development of a Net Carbon Impact Assessment Methodology for measuring the climate impact of ICT solutions, along with guidelines and case studies.
Real-life case studies, drawn from ICT solutions provided by coalition members and stakeholders, helped refine these methodologies. These range from cloud-based tools for energy management in buildings, to 5G-enabled manufacturing and agriculture, as well as smart energy and smart city platforms.

The Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) contributes to the development and better functioning of the internal market for electronic communications networks and services by aiming to ensure a consistent application of the European Union (EU) regulatory framework and to promote an effective internal market in the telecoms sector, in order to bring even greater benefits to consumers and businesses alike.
